the 10 point minimum makes it -EV.

I have a lot of points, but if I spent five hours playing blackjack, I'd probably wind up broke or close to it, even with perfect strategy.

I'd love to see someone attempt this knowing a break even point is to lose 10 in a row in 60 hands, given the odds of completing this are .145%.

edit: although, the -EV associated with the game has just gotten better by a small percentage

yeah.... you'd have to be a moron to try FOR the 10 in a row. with the slight decrease in house edge.... it's not a bad way to kill some time.

    up about 75 points.

If the game was not level this would be very +Even.

so in the casino is this "single hand" or "single deck" that you are talking about?

Know where you're coming from, but this is simply not a true statement.

Having said that, I believe SBR BLACKJACK is 101% on the level.

If you're going to try it, you're better off with more decks. It's a bad idea any way you slice it though.

unless the higher the amount played has something to do with it i would say not likely. for shits and giggles i just played maybe 60 hands at 1 point each and i didn't lose more then 5-6 in a row. but like yisman said its not worth the risk

I just lost 5 hands in a row, pushed one, and then lost another.

Still not ten, but seven non-winners in a row.

    4:40:46 Player Hand 1 20 A♦ 9♥ 25.00 -25.00 Player Hand 2 16 A♣ 5♦ Split 25.00 -25.00 Dealer Hand 21 4♣ 7♠ J♠ Hit, Stand 50.00 -50.00

split aces against a seven and the dealer of course gets 21 the only time I can ever remember splitting aces.

    That's a good one.

You can't calculate any odds since the game is being played by a computer. Would need to see the code first I am going to assume it was written in ASP.net, C# on a SQL backend.

A dealer hand wins on average ~52% of the time discounting ties. A dealer hand wins ~48% of the time including ties

    ~52%^(10) = .145%
    ~48%^(10) = .065%

A push is not a loss. And even if it did count toward it, your numbers are still off. I just gave you the probabilities. Are you retarded?

I just lost 10 in a row. Since I was playing perfect basic strategy, I had to surrender my 16 with dealer showing Ace. Still a losing hand.

I didn't think it could happen.. especially not that quickly

You should have kept going to see how many more losses you could have racked up.. set a record or something
