I don't get it nor like it, but could really care less. No prior info and then to narrow it down, giving the mass majority zero chance is bullshit. What is the contest for the rest of us? I could still end up with more points then anybody. Going forward is one thing but going backwards is another. Is Thadd even eligible being employee?

You do not state a contest and then tell 99% of us that we have no chance and NEVER DID.
Is this the WSOP trials or WSOP/Ryder Cup trials? Nothing like changing the rules/game in the middle.

Lets call it what it is from now on, WSOP and Ryder Cup qualiers for those and for those does nots.

I'm only at 350, means that its time to buckle down and get some top 3's. I was hoping it would be done by final tables, I've made those in almost every tourney I've played in.

You only have 250 points from one lone second-place finish on 5/23/2011. You can confirm this in your point log page. The reason your name doesn't show up is that it lists the top 15 per. The World is less since most players are either USA, Canadian, or European.

Either way, we are going to be revising the list to only include the top 8 per John's post, so you'll need a few more cashes to be in contention for Team Canada.

You were correct. It's why we're posting the list far in advance and going to be updating it daily. It's not done by program so if you see a human error let us know.
Right now, we've confirmed the current list is 100% accurate.

That USA team has the most competition and I didn't want someone getting an extra 500. I have 600 so far and don't feel like I have a chance against all the great players with 1000 or more so far. But I am happy to won the 600, exceeding my expectations, and will keep plugging away and getting pushed around by the all-in guys.

Me neither, i just happened to be sitting at the same table as 2 other guys who got Royal Flushes while the SBR promo for Febuary was all players at the table recieve 5k points.

The top 8 point winners in the WSOP qualifiers will be chosen plus the highest post count non qualifier for a total of 9. Join date(seniority) will be used to break ties.

Sure it should of been made,you caught an error and now Lou will fix it.

Only slight downfall is, it exposes you as being someone who pays attention,this is a good trait to have at a poker table.

Im at 1000 points with two fourth place finishes. I would have played slower for possible top 3 if i knew this was how the scoring was. IS there any way I can participate on the world team with my deep jewish roots lol.

John, you're making it sound like finishing in the Top 3 in a 60 person tournament is easy. With three weeks left, I wouldn't expect to finish Top 3 more than once (if at all). This Ryder Cup thing sounds like a great idea, just posted a little late. Would have made more sense for players to know these were the qualifying rules when the WSOP qualifiers started. As it's been stated before, there are players that secured their seat in the tournament and stopped playing.
