Here are the SBR Ryder Cup standings! The posters who do the best throughout the SBR WSOP Freerolls will have a chance to represent their country to win SBR Points by playing poker in July. In the event of a tie, SBRforum join date will be used as the decider.

This list shows the points won by players in the daily WSOP freerolls.

The daily tournaments pay:
1st place: 500 points
2nd place: 250 points
2rd place: 100 points

yeah i won my event may 6th with a 1st place prize

since then really didn't put my all into the events and wasn't worried if i played or not.

if i would have known i'm sure i would have way more points than 600

You have a full three weeks to back that up, since you're no longer eligible to appear in the top 15 for Team USA.

Thanks for posting standings. I guess that clarifies the question about whether last month counts or not - it clear does.

Now, Lou if you would be so kind, can you please confirm whether it will be precisely the top 9 in each category or if some spots will be "at large". John Hasn't hasn't been clear about how things are being done.

I've been following the results and keeping some records for my own amusement and curiosity. A name I see above with 1000 pts looks wrong to me. According to my records , that person won on 6/1 and before that hadn't yet qualified, let alone earned points - according to my tracking.

I figured I missed something, so I checked his points history. Sure enough, going back thru May 1, there is just one poker payoff for 500 on 6/1.

If I'm wrong , I apologize. but please check that 1000 points for jose21_us.

I am not really checking the list, but that name jumped out at me because I had just seen him win for the first time yesterday ( unless I missed something --- but the points history seems to verify what I thought).

Could there be other mistakes ( if, in fact , this is a mistake) ?.

Too many Americans. US should be split up into the four regions, one tournament to decide the winning region, and the winner represents the US in the SBR Ryder Cup, kind of how the little league world series works.

I disagree. Assuming they are talking the top 9, you are safe or very near to it. Somewhere around 15 US people earned 1000+ last month, so maybe 25 or so made at least 750. This month is shorter, so it is doubtful that even 15 people will make 1000 this month. If those 15, 7 would have to already be in the top 25 for enough people to pass you, assuming you get zero more. (And its unlikely you'll get zero more anyway.)
