Jones knows the players are at fault so he won't fire the coach. This gives him leverage at the end of the season to cut players that didn't perform.

Not giving up yet. Of course they always say they are not firing the coach...and then they fire him LOL. Cowboys attendance is falling and the team has quit. He has no choice but of course he could wimp out and blame labor problems. We will know by Wednesday. I'm guessing Jerry thought about it hard during his sleepless night.

I kind of figured Jerry would say something like that. His ego is too big to admit that he made a bad decision in keeping Wade Phillips around for another season. Now he realizes their season is done, so he'll just let Phillips drown in their failure.

Yep. Locked it last night. Otherwise I would've placed a bet, although most of my funds are tied up in bets and loans.

Interesting prop bet. Of course, there is some non-zero prob of Phillips not being on the sidelines for some other reason (he quits, is in the hospital, etc.), but it does look like a very likely win for the yes side.
