In the NFL 80% of the players are essentially the same. One offensive line is within a few clicks talent wise of another, likewise with every other position. Thus the parity you witness every Sunday. Then of course there are 10% who are above everyone else and 10% who are below and who warm the bench but when pressed into action due to an injury to the starter, they can get exposed big time if up against one of the 10% in the superior level.
