    Chargebacks and existing books
Sorry, I know this is my first post. Not trying to step on anyones toes. I had an incident where I had someone steal my laptop. next thing I know someone plays bets over the weekend and I have no money in one of my books. I tried talking to the book but they are unwilling to help me. Obviously think I am lying. I am planing a ********** towards a that book. My question is how will the ********** effect my other books. I have 3 other books that I have in very good standing. Two of them for over 3 years. But I don't want one ********** to ruin my reputation or status with my other 3 books. Any thoughts?

First off, we all have a gambling problem. Whoever says otherwise is full of BS. Second, I had other things on my mind other then my sportsbook. My laptop was stolen with my saved passwords and information. So my book was the last thing from my mind. And lastly, my question was about how the ********** would affect my other books, not whether you believe me or not.

You'll likely end up on a player blacklist and right or wrong, it's possible you won't get paid at another book where you have a balance. sportsbooks consider it attack on their business when someone steals their funds through the processsors since one ********** can affect their business with that processor.

Regarding chargebacks in general, if you were to dispute the purchase for this reason with a US company such as Youbet or ebay, you would not be awarded your funds. It's when you don't get the item or service they allow chargebacks, vs when you do get it and give it away or allow it to be stolen.

Just eat the money that you "lost".

How would this person know that you gamble and what sites that you gamble on? I would imagine that most people that steal laptops normally sell them right away.

My only guess would be that they wanted my information and anything tied to accounts. All of my bank accounts and credit cards had to be cancel/changed. But when I went back to check on my sportsbooks, one has been tampered with. It wasn't a lot of money, but I still feel cheated none the less.

Thank you Mr.Dozer for your information. It does suck that I am out some money, but the last thing I want is to disrupt my other books.

Please look at this from the book's perspective. You lost your laptop (nothing to do with them) and you failed to secure your account and password (nothing to do with them). Now you want them to refund your money or do a **********? Sorry guy....... sorry about your loss, but if you do a **********, you will never be allowed to be paid anywhere. You will end up on a blacklist. And it does exist..... go through this forum and look for payout complaints, and you will ultimately find that over half resulted in "you did not get paid because of a ********** several months ago."

if they broke into ur account, they had to access the site with ur laptop cause the password would be incripted. ask ur sportsbook what the ip address was when they placed the bets. hire a private investigator, find out where the laptop is and go light them up!!!!
