vick can't even pass, he sucks, he had one big run because a defender fell down in the rain and vick couldnt convert down at the goaline and on a 4th and 1.
He simply can't pass and if a team knows he is starting he is not that hard to defend.

I wouldn't want to lay 6 points when I know I coulda got it at 3 when the line came out. I picked PHI to cover with the earlier spread, but with the starting center out and an inconsistent Vick at QB, 6 is pushin it. Luckily for the Eagles their D will take care of Hill and make up for whatever mistakes Vick happens to make.

Both teams will fail to get the ball in the endzone. Detroits weakness is their secondary but as we know Vick cannot throw the ball so it shouldnt matter. Whilst Detroit without Stafford will be completly lost on Offense. Like detroit with the points in a low scoring affair.

Vick will start. Kolb has not passed a concussion test yet this week. Takes another one on Friday, but even if he passes that it is doubtful he would be thrown into a starting role with no prep time. This week you're going to find out just what Vick has in the tank as the Lions have had all week to prepare for him. Honestly, the Eagles coaching staff will be the ones who either make him look good or bad. They cannot truly run their playbook with Vick at QB IMO. He does not possess the quick reads and short passing touch that the West Coast offense calls for. I look for them to run the ball a little more and to allow Vick to use his feet as a weapon with more shotgun formations and rollouts. Also think with Vick's arm strength that they need to go deep to DeSean Jackson and J.Macklin several times.

How idiotic to still be saying Vick can't pass his passing percentage was better than Kolb's last week who the Eagles let a guy go for who had gotten them to countless NFC Finals and the Superbowl. Anyone saying Vick can't pass pays too much attention to popular opinion which is usually made up by idiots seeing that the world is all phucked up because too many people just go with the norm. The truth is Kolb can't pass and is not ready to be a full time starter in the NFL. Vick will complete atleast 66% of his passes just like last week if he starts this week and will run for 75+ yards as the Eagles squeak by the much improved Lions defense. Suh is a beast on D and Vick is a beast with the ball. Vick 17-25 185 yards passing and 12 rushes for 95 yards, just like old times, numbers passing will never blow you away but his teams usually win, Eagles win Vick haters.

Eagles win this game, no question.
Their defense looked great against the Packers and when Vick came in the offense started to click, against a very good Green Bay team.
Eagles will get multiple turnovers and win this game easy, but I hate laying chalk on the road, for all those who are daring enough, I would take the Eagles.

You guys are missing the point here and are basing the -6 spread ONLY on Vick, theres a lot more to it. Vick is a great scrambler QB, PERIOD!

Defenses have been trying for years to stop him from scrambling its just not going to happen. Eagles have a good defense, not great or average but their GOOD enough. Lions competed well against the Bears but still managed to only put up 14 points. It will be a lot tougher to score 14 points against the Eagles with Shaun Hill taking the snaps. Eagles offense just became a whole lot better with Vick starting. They wiill run all over the Lions awful run defense with Vick and McCoy. Vick has a strong but not so accurate arm to still be able to find Desean, Maclin and Celek.

Wish I could of got it at -3.5 but I never even seen that number at my book.
