#72I'd say it's about 50/50 rigged favorable for the home teams. Detroit would be one example, another would be in that Rams game. I'm fairly certain no one here saw the Rams and Cardinals game, well that game was kinda rigged.
The Cardinals was trying to run out the clock in St Louis territory with a little over a minute left, but Hightowers gets called for a fumble after a decent run. On replay it clearly shows that the ground cause the fumble when Hightower was brought down. Fox PA John Lynch and Ron Pitts were baffled how the call wasn't overturn, when the replay was clear as daylight of not being a fumble. The Cardinals eventually won, but had to sweat the 1 minute. Now if that's isn't rigged referee calling wise, what is?Comment -

#74Anyone who thinks that was a bad call is a homer idiot. The Off lineman was practically choking the rusher for christ sake. Why not be mad at the Cowboys offense. They only scored 7 points!!! Did you not notice that nobody on the Cowboys was complaining at the call??? That's because if was obvious.Comment -

#77no robbery. The game at times assisted by the refs a bit throughout the game unnoticably to favor a certain team. or if they need a game to go under they might let them play more physical, things like that. I don't really know what to say I think this game wasn't rigged but there are a lot of rigs in NFL games for sure.Cause Sleep is the Cousin of DeathComment -

#80I'm all for a good conspiracy theory, and even though I got my ass handed to me this weekend I have a hard time believing the whole thing is rigged. Players make millions of dollars. For them to throw a game the pay-off would have to be substantial. Once they throw just one game the conspiracy that paid them would be able to blackmail them for the rest of their NFL career. You would have to pay a player $15 million or more to throw a game and it would take at least 3 key players to do this effectively.
I can swallow the idea that refs would be an easier target, after all basketball was caught red-handed. It is still tough to call though. I believe the more likely scenario is that Dallas sucks!!! No offense
I was on the Colts in a 10 point teaser and they still managed to blow it. It was an early game so I managed to jump in with the 49ers in another 10 point teaser and they blew it. I don't blame the refs, the players, or some wild conspiracy. I blame my lack of handi-capping skills and buying into the hype. Thought I was being smart fading the public on the Texans. The 49ers was totally a hype job and I bought it hook, line, and sinker. With Arizona losing Kurt Warner I thought SF had it wrapped up but i think Seattle has different ideas.
I don't think it is impossible that the NFL is rigged because wherever there is big money corruption is never far behind, but sports betting is big business and they would be stupid to rig it, have that info leak, and scare off their clients. It simply is not in Vegas' interest to do it. It would be a short term gain to lose long term profits. Makes no sense.Comment -

#98I'm guessing he's upset that Brocks Rubberband play thread had 8,000 hits....Fightingwarior made a thread saying he won his 25K bet, and it got 4 responses.
Maybe he's finally realizing no one gives a shit about his fake bet amounts, and just because he tells JJgold that he bet that much, he really believes that will make us believe him.
Like he said we can ask JJgold about his 1,000 bet on the 2nd half, because JJgold can confirm his bets.

#101Huh??? On the last series, on First down and second down Romo threw it directly to a Washington DB. DIRECTLY to a DB! Is Romo in on this rigging and the Redskin secondary was excluded from the planning meetings because frankly, there is no excuse to drop possible interceptions like that. Easier to rig a baseball game by messing with the strike zone or rigging a basketball game since the fouls can be so touchy. There is still a core fundamental in football that is pure. Football can be rigged to a certain extent but unless the players are in on it (i.e. the 8 University of Toledo Rocket football players indicted for point shaving), it can't be rigged solely by the refs (unless you're Calvin Johnson from Detroit having a touchdown stripped away).Comment -

#102YES IT IS RIGGED......... For Example, Read On.
When you watch the Jets/Ravens Game Tonight on MNF wait to see what side Ron Jaworski is on.
He is the Master Controller of this game. "Jaws" will be sending encrypted messages to the Refs throughout the game via their ear pieces........ Jaws is the "Puppet Master" for this game and the Refs are the "Puppets".
The Refs (Puppets) will carry out his orders blindly in return for free rounds of Golf at Ron Jaworski's Golf Courses that his Management Company operates. The Refs and "Jaws" are in cahoots I say and "Jaws" will make a shit load of money off of this game.....you'll see!
Listen very closely to Ron Jaworski's pre game ramble and his prognostication and then pound his lean hard......... A Sure Winner!Comment -
