Florida would score 70 in 3 quarters against Hawaii and that's only because Tebow would be pulled after they scored 56 and had a 5 touchdown lead.

I can safely say, having watched the last 4 games Hawaii played, that Colt Brennan was the most overrated player in the college game.

You can't compare the Georgia defense or Georgia team to the rest of the SEC. It was one game. Brennan wasn't right, either physically or mentally, and I just think saying this wasn't a top-25 team is inane.

hawaii was down 22-3 with 5 minutes left in the 3rd, sure they made a nice comeback, but even with a td, they still have to go for 2 to tie...eh. bama was awful last year, btw.

you seem to give hawaii a lot of credit, im just not sure why. tennessee plays 4 new players in the defensive back field, so it took them some time to get up to speed, but they really played pretty well late in the season.

i cant compare what? tennessee, auburn, uga and florida will send more than a few players, from the defensive side, into the NFL draft. the talent levels are not remotely close to being close b/w hawaii and the teams you referenced. Hawaii isnt a top 30 team, imo. its really not all that difficult an argument against them. they played one teams thats currently ranked and that team could have named their score on'em. UGA made a joke of Hawaii and Hawaii was as hyped for that game as a team possible could be. when they were overly amped they couldnt do anything. when they settled down some, they couldnt do anything. when uga had the game won, hawaii couldnt do anything. hawaiis offensive line is a joke compared to these SEC defensive fronts.

then allow being out played by washington to cloud your judgement. perhaps a 2 point win over nevada, a 1 point win over la tech, or maybe the 7 point win over san jose state. hawaii was not a very good team in the 07/08 season. they came into the bowl season as the most overrated team in the country, and they ended it as they should have. hawaii may be a top 30 team, maybe closer to 35th or 40th. the warriors played no one in the regular season, they beat no one, and it showed when they had to line up vs a big team.

washington is not a good football team. being the best team not to make a bowl does not mean much. not that i agree with the statement to begin with, but even if i did, it doesnt mean much.

no one else in the sec is markedly better than hawaii? thats absurd. for one, hawaii got their ass kicked by a pretty bad bama team last year. i realize the final wasnt all that bad, but the score was 22-3 before hawaii scored some late, meaningless, points. hawaii is inferior to almost every team in the sec by a decent margin. you would bet hawaii + 4 vs Tennessee, Florida, and/or Auburn? i just dont see where you get this. UGA made a complete joke of this high school team. Tennessee made a joke of UGA. The vols arent better than UGA right now, but they would obliterate hawaii. Hawaii doesnt have more than 1 or 2 players that would start for the vols or auburn. they have zero players that would start for florida. hawaii played the 117th ranked schedule in the nation, who cares of they finished undefeated? vandy could have finished undefeated against that schedule, they beat no decent teams. Hawaiis big win was over Boise...i think boise proved to us just how good they are when they got smoked for 3 quarters vs ECU. I wish i could create these matchups and take your wagers. Hawaii is an awful team; not close to the 15. UGA was up 38-3 going into the 4th, uga could have won by 50 if they wanted to. UGA couldnt beat anyone in the SEC by 50, ever.
