and i would say you heard wrong.... how can a game that is literaly stop and start and has more commercials that action during a broadcast be the MOST exciting game....what was that espn report, wasn't it like there is 7 minutes of combined play in a nfl game?

like i said to each is own....there really is no right answer, the stoppages dont bother me as i like that i can pretty much watch three -four games on two tvs and not miss much......

It depends on your definition of exciting. If you think of strategy, action, and team participation as exciting then yeah it may be. If you think of dangerous shit as more exciting, then maybe downhill skiing might be the most exciting.

For me, the NFL is the best team sport hands down. Lately I've been watching allot of soccer so that I can say that Igave it a chance, and that sport needs some rules to open up some different strategies. They can score 1 goal in the first 5 minutes and sit on it the entire game, and not all players are playing all the time. Sure the clock is always running, but that doesn't mean that there is always action going on. With football, yeah it starts and stops, but you always know when the action will begin, so you can take a slug off the beer, or get in a quick piss.
