yes they EARNED it. 29-5 in the highest rated RPI conference (B1G) this year.

    however,

i have MEMPHIS and Penny Hardaway and the 7 seniors in their rotation, beating them in Round 2

Got to reiterate this. I just never understood their ranking and it was proven tonight. What a fraud of a #1.

Texas and Marquette are way better than Purdue. But Purdue should have won this, completely disappeared since they took that 46-41 lead after a 8-0 run.

Purdue went clueless the final four minutes, got whipped by a Junior Varsity squad from Teaneck NJ.
And as we watched the final four minutes, we all knew it was coming.
    It was thing of beauty.

like i said pregame, when you have seven seniors, they are still there for a reason.

Most of the handicappers here lean on the Pomeroy metrics, I lean on the Jeff Sagarin metrics, both Ken Pomeroy and Jeff Sagarin are both easily the best at what they do, both mathematical geniuses.

Both Sagarin and Pomeroy had Purdue as the eight best team in the nation.

Let's look at Pomeroy SoS rankings.
Look at the top ten team regarding SoS

    What's the common denominator?
