I get why he went for it on 4th and Goal but I hated the play call. Now his defense has to stop Baltimore from scoring a touchdown or it could be over because the Baltimore Defense is playing really well tonight. Points are tough to come by so I'm sure Taylor will catch some heat for that decision.

Yeah I'm sure that was weighing on his mind as he took the 3. In the end it was the right call here imo because your defense is on their game and you just have to trust them at this point. I always take the points even if it's +3 or less. I bet a lot, not going to lose money over taking ml instead of spread. With that said, I almost always sprinkle on the ml along with the spread. In the long run you come out on top.

The difference to a longer term bottom line can be enormous. Have a cut off where the price is just too much to pay.
Remember, it's all a price. Some of it is converted into points for a spread. It can always be converted back to a moneyline, no matter the size. That said, higher spreads are probably less accurate moneylines wise and afford more room for juice or hold.
But 3 point NFL spreads can be pretty efficient.
I think you guys already have a type of threshold as you are looking at the spread and then deciding just to opt for the ml, or alt line, but understanding the conversions or half point calculations can be helpful.
