    Shot, your question is a good one. My answer: NO.

    Meyer is an interesting character study, if nothing else. In coaching circles, he's been largely HATED for years. Thing is, he's won a lot at his different stops. Bowling Green, Utah, Florida, Ohio State.

    In particular, in Gainesville and Columbus, those are college towns where the Athletics are above the fray in many ways. Just ask around, I would say they get away with murder (except that Hernandez didn't).

    His reputation has been destroyed. I really disliked his press conference style. The way he tried to control the crowd was very disingenuous.

    Guy surely has enough $$, won't feel obligated to work. Who wants to listen to him?

    As recently as two weeks ago, I would have said he could leave NFL and still get a big College job. Now, I think he's untouchable.
