I'm about to open my 2010 Bash props book. Looking at limits of betting 50 points per prop.

But there is more to it than meets the eye. The tourney starts at 8am and I have been about the only sober one out there so far. Plus, I like the course. Its short and I have putted lights out there.

You announced the bash to the 1st 50 people with no limitations like post counts and so on, so all the people with less than 100 posts signed up and got the free air fare instead of the regulars. It was 300 last yr you went with only 50 this yr so I missed out by 10 people I would have been number 60. Oh well GL SBRJOHN!

We can definitely put some action out there on the poker tournament for the forum to get into. Once we get a firmer list of participants, sammy9ball, Lou and I will throw together some numbers on that. We are going to spill out of that room from last year according to the last count I saw.

How about this: Laps I make walking on Freemont under the covered area. Think it's about LV Blvd to Main, guessing it's in the half-mile range one lap around the far lane of that span. Maybe a tad longer. How many laps do you think I can make from 5-6 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 28?*

OK, I'm guessing you would be willing to lay the -500? I'm trying to get some fair pricing. Then I do intend to open it up to real points betting. I actually think -500ish is a fair line....course the limits will be low so settle down.

John, I want a personal prop. I laid the challenge in an earlier thread but it went ignored so this looks like the obvious place for it. You say you are a 14 (obviously anyone who has played golf for any amount of time full well understands the art of selective handicapping or sandbagging) and I am a 12 but fully admit I could shoot anywhere between 78 and 88 depending on the day. I will give you 1.5 shots per side ( that's one shot on the hardest hole per side and a half stroke on the second hardest hole per side meaning you tie me on that hole you win). We can play a set amount per hole or just a purse prize for the match. Giving you shots should make this an even prop.

BTW, I'm not a sandbagger. I have played in the Central Valley Golf Association league in Costa Rica for years as well as in the US and Asia clubs. I really am a 14. I play tough courses where there is usually a lot of wind. The Vegas course is tricky but its short and can be man handled IF you hit the ball straight and of course putting is always hard in Vegas.

After the 18th, whoever spent the most on losing bets, green fees, ect gets a free lunch.

Ok, we'll play $10 a hole with $5 trash (greenies, sandies and polies). Putting will definatley not be my issue, I take great pride in being the best putter I can be and short game is generally pretty good a well. Hitting straight off the tee generally isn't the problem either. I just sometimes have no clue what might happen with my second shots sometimes.

I plan on arriving Thursday so playing a round on Friday sounds cool.

I'm laying an extra 1/2 shot per side, never been to Vegas and obviously never seen the courses out there or know anything about the greens but I would still say John would be +125 to win.

I don't play dirty, I adhere to the rules, don't slow play my opponent but it never fails they take one look at me and think to themselves, "this fat fck can't possibly beat me" which is exactly what I want them to think.

Wal I had never played that course until last yr either. I shot an 84, its not that hard as long as you can hit it straight you will be just fine. It's a nice course but not very hard.
