that's an almost 20% increase in shots meaning there will be availabilty for rebounds, points, assists for the players.

    MJ the best
    Kobe 2
    Lebron 3

Lebron will rise to 2 if he gets 1-2 more rings.

I respect the hell out of Kobe but it's like, how analytically do you wanna break it down? Because if Lebron played 3 years with prime Shaq, he laughs his way to 3 rings, right? It's not even a question

The biggest thing going against Kobe's claim for top 5 all-time is that the only rings he won without Shaq were not super impressive at all. One was against the motherfking Magic (they made it there through Dwight + outside shooting and then proceeded to have a literally historically bad shooting performance in game 1 of Finals that had nothing to do with the defense), and the other was a series they won in spite of Kobe shooting like absolute trash in a game 7 vs the Celtics

You know Kobe had 2 broken fingers in that series -- on his shooting hand -- and a dislocated shoulder? Lol. The way he played, considering his injuries, and the fact the celtics doubled him on every play, is truly a miracle.

He won 2 rings with Pau Gasol as his second best player bro. And he beat Boston, one of the greatest teams ever assembled...

Lebron lost to that same Boston team year after year. Him and Wade and Bosh almost lost to them too with them being down 3-2.

Lebron Wade and Bosh are much better than Kobe's later teams. Kyrie Lebron and Love the same. All those players were number 1 options, bonafide superstars.

The fact that the best player Kobe ever played with outside of Shaq was Pau Gasol during his 20 year career is straight up laughable. Gasol hadn't won a single playoff game before he joined the Lakers. Not 1. And it's not like he was a young buck like an Irving.

Wade was an MVP candidate for nearly a decade, and one of the top 3 shooting guards in NBA history.

So that's how I break it down.

Kobe had to simply do much more to win his 2 rings in his later years.

Don't forget the types of teams he went through in the West.

    Brutal.

There's been a ton of statistics on this -- on the type of playoff schedule Kobe faced during his career compared to Lebron.

my fave NBA moment of all time. i remember watching it live & freaking out.

I had Bird as my 5th best player in history before Lebron started climbing ranks. Bird easily top 10 all time. Would dominate these schmuck SFs/PFs in today's league. Straight up would dominate.

Doncic is closest thing to thing I've seen to Bird since.

Very similar type of game, seems kind of eerie. Two very strong guys who can make any shot on the floor, great rebounders, tough in traffic, the efficiency, the moves in the post.

Bird would be competing for MVPs if he played today. You got guys like Kelly Oubre averaging 20 points a night.

    Lmao.

Bird would make that kid his straight bitch.

    Check yourself Arch.

Robert Horry and Kurt Rambis two of the best to ever play.

When Robert Horry dies, it will probably impact the world more than the Pearl Harbor attacks of 1941.

When Rambis goes it will be louder than the shot heard around the world.

If you take the greats from the bygone era (pre 1978) out of the equasion, my top 3 are embedded in granite.
    1) MJ
    2) Magic
    3) Kareem

4 through 10....any of these guys have a legit argument:
Bird, Kobe, LeBron, Hakeem, Barkley, Doc, Shaq, Duncan...…

I am a Boston guy, been around for all these players. Obviously love Bird to death, but Magic was simply better.
Shaq only guy on the list to me who actually could have given MJ a battle at the top if he had more mental toughness and less shenanigans.

All star appearances Kobe wins over Lebron..

Defensive player of the year awards also..

Kobe Bryant has made a total of 12 All-Defensive teams, more than any other guard. Ben Wallace, who has won four NBA Defensive Player of the Year Awards in five years, has been selected into the All-Defensive first team five times in six selections.
