I know its not working this weekend but most times than not in the playoffs that theory works. Coach/QB/Defense. It's not 100% that's obvious. Do you think Freddie Kitchens would win against Belichek? Or against McVay? Or Vrabel? Or Pete Carroll? Playoff years past it has been golden at times.
