The players couldn't hear the coach telling them to foul, stadium too loud.

    Final score was 90-86

Greed has no limit. It does't matter how much you make. You always want more. Especially NBA players.

Forget about the players not being able to hear Popovich tell them to foul. These guys been playing the game for 20 years, they should know the situation. You don't need the coach to tell you to do that. This is an every day occurrence where you foul, not some special circumstance where you need advisement from a coach 40 feet away. No explanation makes sense.

Not that I care I think the players are so used to Popovich controlling everything they got confused and couldn't hear him because the stock clock was still one.

ThT what I’m saying, Mfer saying “they couldn’t hear coach”, they seriously need to be told w 27 seconds left down 4 they can’t win if they don’t get ball back???

Who would take enough action to make it anything other than pennies to them?

Refs are one thing, they dont make much

But now we’re entering the realm of the Popovichs, Derozans and Aldridges fixing games, where they gonna get down that kinda paper to risk everything?

I think they couldn't hear the coach yelling to foul but also because the shot clock was still one their was confusion, obviously they should have fouled.

    Obviously

Decades of experience on the floor and they need a coach to tell them when to foul?

What risk? Nobody will ever find out. People already making up excuses for them that players didn't hear Pop scream to foul or they can't do basic math in their head.

Popovich said EVERYTHING in the press conference except for one thing. He forgot to mention the line was 6. That was the only thing that would have made sense in his 5 minute talk that he didn't say.

If true, every player on the floor should be cut tomorrow

Down 4 in a playoff game, if you still need to be told to foul you aint no pro

Its the end of a 7 game series and you're playing at altitude these players were extremely tired and they couldn't hear the coach, this isn't a normal game, when you're at the end of a tough game 7 fatigue is a much bigger deal.

Anyone that thinks there point shaving or players gambling on this is boarder line retarded.

Forget the fact as you saying it just dumb to think they would risk it for nothing close to what they bring home, just the idea they fix it to cover +6 makes no sense, way easier to ensure you lose by more than 6 so if they were in fact fixing it they would take the only outcome they can ensure which would be losing by more than the spread!!

Anytime a outcome doesn’t go someone’s way around here we get the conspiracy nuts screaming about how this proves match fixing, common sense be damned!!

Ok, so walk me through this

Are they betting the games themselves? Are they using Vegas books or BetIslands? Are they in on it with Vegas?

There is risk with everything, especially this.

And why make it so blatantly obvious? If you’re gonna fix a game, why do it that way?

Can you answer those questions for me

The amount of money bet on a single NBA game is nothing compared to the NFL, it wouldn't be worth it to point shave and their would have been far easier ways to do it if they wanted to.

Don't care if it is a game 7 7,000 feet in the air, or a game 0 6 feet underground. Time and score awareness we learn when we are 5 years old paying to play the game, not in our 20's and 30's getting paid millions. Inexcusable.
