Lennox Lewis is the greatest heavyweight boxer of all time.

The man destroyed every fighter he fought and won both rematches he lost. A lot of people say his style is boring, but none of you can deny that it was extremely effective. A lot of americans just hate him because hes british. Lennox would have thrived in any area, but i think tyson would have had trouble in the 70s with Ali and Foreman.

Honestly, I do believe he's the most underrated Heavyweight boxer of all time. It's hard to say how he would have done against a prime Tyson, Ali, Foreman etc. Had he beat Tyson in his prime I think he would have been viewed completely differently. If you take a look at all the fighters Tyson destroyed they all had one thing in common... they were afraid of him. You could tell by the way they fought him. Fighters that weren't afraid of Tyson did much better against him than fighters that were afraid of him. Lennox Lewis wouldn't have been afraid of Tyson. I think there's a very good chance that Lewis would have beat a prime Tyson. Lewis was better than Buster Douglas ever was and the night Douglas beat Tyson you could tell he was fighting without fear which is why he beat him. It's too bad Lewis never got to fight a prime Tyson. If you would have given me even odds I definitely would have taken Lewis.

He would've gotten mopped across that ring by Tyson if he hadn't waited to fight the washed version of iron mike.

I was obviously referencing Harlem Knights in earlier post.

My top five heavyweights of all time:

    1. Ali
    2. Joe Lewis
    3. Jack Johnson
    4. Jack Dempsey
    5. Joe Frazier

Sonny Liston definitely feared as much or more than Tyson. Was thought to be unbeatable until Ali, who was so cocky and feared no one, got into his head and knocked him off.

Tyson mowed through a division that was so weak en route to unifying the title, and then had all his legal trouble when the division started to get good again, (was never the same after the jail stint) so no one knows how great Tyson could have been if he wouldn’t have gone nuts.

I would put Tyson and Holyfield over Lewis even though they both lost to him.

Couldn’t read the post because I’m still laughing so hard at the title. Lennox Lewis doesn’t even make top 5 pal.
