Been saying it all season but this was the cherry on top. Fire Izzo. He’s incompetent.

Today was one of the worst coaching jobs I've seen. Not only did he play Carter over Kackson, but he continued to put him in the middle of the zone when it was clear from early in the game that he was ineffective.

He did not deserve it 5 years ago... but ever since he was inducted to HOF he has been horrible. He does not handle the celebrity status well at all.

Big risk with firing a guy like Izzo is that he is a legend in East Lansing and you might not get those big name players that he has been getting if you hire some young guy that isn't well known. And if you do get a new guy and hes a bust well.... than you really just fked your program. Izzo isn't going anywhere unless NCAA gets rid of him.

SEC and PAC 10 should be a POWERHOUSE in both football and basketball given the CLIMATE plus FEMALES

I meant overrated not fired, I dont think he should be fired thats kinda drastic. He's just an old guy who has been doing it his way and thinks he can outsmart the animal most times. I remember during those years I called him overrated is when he had multiple games where they were up 2 with seconds left and he didnt foul and they lost games early in season on buzzer beaters. A few games after that they actually smarten up and try to foul up 2 but it happened to be an and-1 3 pt shot lol.
Zero 5-star recruits next year. Why would any McDonald’s All American want to ride the pine for Izzo? Jaren Jackson will get more minutes in the NBA this fall than he did on MSU, playing behind a guy today who hasn’t played more than a couple minutes this year.
I was giving Izzo plenty of slack during the last couple months due to all of the allegations and BS he has had to deal with... but he didn't even attempt to win this game today.
He is not going to get fired, but I would wager that MSU will be an NIT team next year
