the only problem, IMO is selecting the best of the worst. and when selecting the best of the worst I will most always go with the D's. they somewhat represent the progressive side of politics, at least much more than the asshole party. I know, you know and many educated people know that the arch of justice in this world, which includes most Western democracies and certainly the USA, always or almost always learns toward the progressive cause. This is not an argument this is a fact. So when given a choice between what is at least somewhat close to progressive politics vs another party that isn't even in the same political ballpark I will always choose the former.
