    Actually. now that you mention it, I finally got the book I've been wanting to get for 10 years now. "Oiler Blues: The Story Of Pro Football's Most Frustrating Team". The book has normally gone for $50 or more, but I was finally able to find it for $6, including the shipping. It gives a detail story of every season in Houston Oilers history. After one day, I've already gone through their first 9 seasons. I love any history of the pre merger days of the AFL/NFL and ABA/NBA. "Loose Balls" is an excellent book on the history of the ABA.

    Have lost 30 lbs. so far. Have another 70-80 to go. Physical therapist says "no sodium". PCP says "carbs are the enemy". Mainly watching my portioning, and cutting out sweets. Exercise 5 days a week. Cholesterol, blood sugar, and triglycerides are all in line.

    I recommend buying a juicer and making a fruit and vegetable juice every day. Not only will it make you feel better, your body will get much needed nutrients and more weight will come off!!

    Yeah, was going to go back to work Jan 18th. Pushed it back to Feb 1st. Was going to do 15 physical therapy sessions, but jumping it to 24. Need to build my stamina up more, and just want to make sure I'm at 100% before I go back. Thanks for the advice, and support Jake!

    Went to my cardiologist yesterday. Have been given a total clean bill of health, and can resume at my job Monday. Thanks again to everyone here for your support. It's been a rough struggle at times, and I still have some work to do, but I'm definitely feeling much better. JJ, feel free to start giving me shit whenever you want to again, you bald fukk.

    Cut out 100% of all soft drinks. Pretty much only drink water now. Occasionally some lemonade. Heard that the lemons are good for breaking down calcium deposits.

    One year anniversary of surgery. I feel so much better now. Energy is much higher. Still have weight to lose, but feel so fortunate that they caught things when they did. Every day is like playing with house money.

    I want to share with you and the forum a book that should be required reading to everyone in the US. Heart disease is not really a disease and it is totally preventable. Unfortunately, our western diets are killing us. Follow this guy and you will never, ever have to worry about another heart event. Imagine the relief of going to sleep at night without worrying if you're going to awaken to chest pains or worst.
