Reports are that Schwarber is out of the lineup today, not a good sign.

He usually doesn't get the start vs lefties.

And I said this BEFORE the game 1 win last night.
Better team, WAY better bullpen, better pedigree.
You have Kendriks on the mound tomorrow next lol.
Good luck. Better hope they tag Garcia for 7 runs to have a shot.
Im on the Cards and have pretty much conceded game 3 to the Cubs, which makes this game huge.
Arrieta is just in another world right now and seeing him only once is a huge break for them.
    I hope you're right though.

Yeah, just like Price couldn't lose game 1 for the Jays.
He was unhittable for the last 2 months also.
    Kershaw also.
Playoffs are a whole different ballgame.

    Stop embarrassing yourself like always.
Not even 5 seconds after a few runs.
Jesus, do you ever get sick of the whole world laughing at you?
Guess you were used to it even before you became a scumbag since you're a towelhead anyways. ROFL

Fk the Cardinals. Their fans always act like they invented baseball and now you look up and half their stadium is blue. Brandon Phillips is right when he called them whiny little bitches

I'm a Reds fan so I don't like either team but the Cubs are going to be unstoppable for atleast the next 5 years! They should win atleast 2 rings with all this talent. Soler blasted that ball today and is strong as an ox. He should develop 30 hr power plus Rizzo, Bryant, and Schwarber! They've got the money to buy whatever else they need.

Fixed it for you. Everyone knows (even Yanks fans) the Mets will be in the playoffs the next 6-8 years straight.
The Cards and Pirates aren't getting any worse. Cubs will never dominate and most likely never win anything like usual.

Everyone knows the Cubs are set up for sustained success next 5 years. Gotta resign Jake though. As for Pitt, Cole is not a big game pitcher, and Liriano not getting younger. They blew good chances the last few seasons. Your mistake: nothing with Cubs now is as per usual. They wiped slate and flipped the org top to bottom.

That's what they said before WC game. Looks like wind will howl out so they might get a few, but Wacha should get blasted. Will be an interesting total.

Benny is usually spot on, not this time. We all win and lose, I still think Benny is a top MLB capper

But LT and High3r had a beat on this series

    Well done boys

Benny said he was drunk when he made this thread. He gets a pass for intoxicated posting. He's good when sober.

He was back gloating after the Game 1 win, I like Benny and he usually is spot on but I can assure if the Cards won he would be in here saying I told you so.

A healthy cards team with healthy Molina a healthy Holiday and Wainwright would have beat the cubs pretty easily and would probably be in the world series.

If this and if that. Holliday is over the hill anyway. Wainright was out all year. Molina didn't make the difference.

    Yeah, that's 100% untrue.
I never disappear from a thread just because it lost.
It's quite the opposite, All the broke diks love to return after its over if it loses.
That's why the forum has 3 posters left on it.
I just needed a drunken refresher why I left lol.

I had the same bet on game 1 as I did for the series, I was freerolling the series like I said earlier.
So I wasn't gloating I was happy to get the first game winner and the luxury of no-risk the rest of the way.
I knew my series bet was toast after that pathetic defensive 3rd or 4th inning by Garcia and the rest of the team on the field that day in game 2.
Possibly the sloppiest, most embarrassing inning I've ever witnessed by a playoff team my whole life.
    That was the turning point.
And it all started with Molina not backing up 1b on the first play, something he's done 99% of his career and happened to be taking a nap on that play in the biggest game of their season. My only guess could be painkillers for his finger made him not focus, other than that it's a mystery to me.
Was surprised no one ever mentioned that in the media. That play was huge and half the fans probably never even noticed it.

Glad to see Cubs fans get a taste at some more post-season.
Hopefully they get to play the Mets, although Greinke is probably a lock tomorrow.
