#2In sports, nothing would surprise me.
I remember that Super Bowl well. I actually bet 3 people at a bar 2 months before the Super Bowl the Cowboys would win. At the time, they were playing at their most mediocre.
I won $2400 which was a decent amount for a 21 year old 18 years ago.
Good times.Comment -

#5I guess you have not done so well after your win because you rarely post in here. To answer the question, only a sore loser or a person who totally lacks any knowledge about the NFL would think that a QB would throw the game.Comment -

#12First pass overthrown because Neil O'Donnell was simply a below average quarterback. Second one a miscommunication between the quarterback and receiver, could have been either one's fault. This happens in the NFL all the time.Originally posted by Dark HorseIf with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. What if there were a snapping of fingers that broke the hypnosis?Comment -

#15Had a buddy who played at Maryland with Neil. Neil comes to the neighborhood with this other roided out Terp. We go to the bar and a hour goes past and i see bar stools flying. Bar room brawl. We get out to the parking lot and since Neil was the qback he somehow slithered out of the fight which i understand. This other roided up terp was going ballistic in the parking lot and smashes his forearm thru a guys car window. Fukin blood everywhere. I should have grab some and sent it to the lab. Fuker had to have a 20 to 1 ratio compared to a normal man. I wonder if Neil remembers that lol.Comment -

#16I think I remember that the receivers broke a different way than Neil thought they would, or they broke a different way than they should have. There were "reads" involved
in any event the QB and Receiver weren't on the same page, so the throws look so bad.
was it O'Donnell that could bench like 550?Comment -

#19Here is another Neil story. I think he picked up some southern chick in a game he played in the South. He told me he got crabs so bad that he had to get the guys in the huddle to surround him just so he could scratch his nuts it itched so bad.Comment -

#22Yeah there is fixing in sports but this one and on this stage no way. Let's also remember O'Donnell never had much of a career or big pay day. A good showing in the SB and beating the mighty Cowpokes at that time would have meant nice payday!! If not from Pitt there would have been several other suitors waiting to sign him.Comment -

#24Oh wow I had forgot about him playing in NY. Much like Neil's career the Jets are pretty easy to forget about lol. Yeah his legacy and brand could not have been hurt much by winning a ring either. Look at Dilfer he didn't do hardly anything aside from not fukk up but has a ring and will always be a SB winning QB unlike Marino. Wtf is wrong with that picture!Comment -
