Unless they are big rivals are something...
it is very possible yes. even without forkin over the points. Jelgava may take points here with no help from LM.
no they aren't big rivals. Generally Jelgava are struggling but they might get a draw here.
It's Liepaja not Liepajas btw I've seen international sites usin this Liepajas version and it's totally wrong. It's like New York's Yankees n sh*t...

Apples to oranges but here is my take: As far as pure athleticism (speed, strength, agility, vertical, coordination) I think Lebron has the edge. Ronaldo faster and more agility but I think Lebron has a better combination of those attributes than any athlete in the world.

That said, I do think the transition from soccer to basketball or football is much easier than the transition from basketball/football to soccer. It's a completely different coordination. Eye to hand is much more easy to pickup than eye to foot cause we use eye to hand much more in our every day lives. Eye to foot not so much. If someone doesn't grow up touching a soccer ball constantly they will look goofy as hell trying to learn how to kick (see chad ocho cinco). I don't know if Ronaldo would make an NBA team but I bet he would have a much better chance at being a good point guard (steve nash type) than Lebron would being a good soccer player.

if you're not even the best player at your own sport, how can you even be considered the better athlete?

Ronaldo is considered the most athletic player in football. But Messi is the better player.

KD is the best player on okc but he's definitely not the most athletic.

we're talking about the best of the best here pal.

lebron is the most athletic and the best in the nba.

if ronaldo is not even the best at soccer, he shouldn't even be considered to be compared to lebron.

I think Lebron is the better athlete because he's got more combinations of attributes plus his power. But Lebron is a rare type of player, who is a PF with PG agility and speed. I definitely think soccer players overall are superior athletes to Nba players. U don't see fatasses walking around soccer clubs like the nba.

    interesting food for thought

what are some of the biggest soccer players ever, that were also fast agile guys? I dont watch much soccer, but I don't think of the sport having alot of good "big" guys. Guys weighing over 200 are prob kind of rare, due to the aerobic demands of the sport.

how bout goaltender? if you gave a guy like Ronaldo and a guy like Lebron 18 months to learn the trade, who would you want?

okay here's the definition of athletic for those that speak english as a second language or first...

    ath·let·ic

    [ath-let-ik] Show IPA
adjective 1. physically active and strong; good at athletics or sports: an athletic child.

    2. of, like, or befitting an athlete.

    3. of or pertaining to athletes; involving the use of physical skills or capabilities, as strength, agility, or stamina: athletic sports; athletic training.

    4. for athletics: an athletic field.

    5. Psychology . (of a physical type) having a sturdy build or well-proportioned body structure. Compare asthenic ( def 2 ) , pyknic ( def 1 ) .

Lebron may be an ultra athlete but in general basketball players seem to be too big and awkward to compete with other sport's general athletic ability in an all round type competition, like a decathlon.

Which is how I would judge the 'most athletic' type of person.

And surely stamina comes into the equation when trying to rate athleticism. Basketballers are all about impact and dont train for that.

Yea, I can't believe soccer players act like they are hurt that badly. They have absolutely no shame. I'd be embarassed, frankly.
