This thread is getting off topic, the question was about athleticism, not "who would perform better in the other's sport". Obviously they would both never make it in each other's sports.
As far as athleticism goes, they're both athletic in different ways so you really can't compare them. Lebron is better with his hands and Ronaldo with his feet. I give the slight edge to Ronaldo simply because he is the more fit player (have you seen his body?). The guy runs 8 or 9 miles in a game.

This thread turned into nothing more than a contest between which sport is better. Generally, Americans favor the NBA while the rest of the world favors soccer, and both think their sport has the better athlete.

Dude, it's not even close.... Lebron bigger faster stronger... Lebron could play baseball if he wanted to and he would be still one of the largest guys in the NFL. He's a freak of nature... Anybody can be in as good of shape as Ronaldo.... Sure he's one of the best with his feet, but seriously this isn't even close.

They're both at the peak of their sports. Ronaldo is really good at football and Lebron is really good at basketball. I don't see how we can say who is a better athlete unless we have something to compare them both to that isn't bias to their sport.

Fist fight? Lebron.
