nice to see him get a hit today

puig's avg has dropped 30 points in the last 10 days

my guess is he will eventually find pine when kemp comes back for crunch time....whether thats in the playoffs or before

too much drama with this gueye in a pennant race

there is no way on hell he rides the bench when kemp comes back. He will get more days off yes. But most likely a 4 man rotation.

He could have 10 hits out of his next 100 ABs and his avg would be .280

Drinker...........he's 22 fukkin years old guy and batting .344 over his first 300+ at bats. Mondesi his over .300 exactly three times in a thirteen year career (with a high of .310). Let's not get ahead of ourselves pal.

Puig one of the best OFs in baseball this season

The mayors best ba ever was .310

Best ops was .901 and he spent some seasons in hitters parks

And they can have similarities like the great arm but that doesn't change the facts

Puig is better now than mondesi ever was

So a little alike and you could say mondesi was a poor mans puig

johnson and puig are just having high variance years. they both have a babip over .400.

based on their walk and strikeout rate, they just don't put the ball in play enough to maintain that kind of average. i would expect both of them to be hitting under .280 next season unless they improve their hitting approach.

other players in their strikout/walk rate range are batting from .230 to .255. of course puig could maitain a babip higher than expected if he is able to get a fair amount of infield hits.

Puig hitting .260 in the last month

He is who we thought he is

    Raul Mondesi part 2

Dodgers playoff outfield = kemp Crawford ethier if they can all get healthy

Puig will make for a nice pinch runner

Didn't he say that Puig would bat around .280 for the remainder of the season?

Wow! He finished at .319 my crystal ball is pretty accurate only 2 points off. Puig was so over hyped at the onset, not what his admirers hoped he would be. I predict Will Myers will have a better career!

I hate the fuk but that infield hit was electric

    Flying down the line

    He still sucks

Would have helped his team more if he could hit it out of the infield
