You claim that predicting .280 is hyperbole to insinuate that he wont hit over .300... Despite your ability to quote the deffinition i don't think you get the meaning... Jaysus... .020 difference in batting avg as hyperbole. Bunch of GED holding fuks on this site.

he is hitting .278 for July

teams have a book on him now. 2nd time he has faced a team in a series he sucks.

Hanley Ramirez is surpassing everything Puig did in the same time frame.

funny no one wanted to see Han Ram in the All Star game though

Kid can hit .290 and still be an All-Star caliber player with his other tools.

Dodgers going to make some noise this summer boys.

not inside drink. He stands so far off the plate he can't get jammed. It's the sliders away that he has problems with, just like kemp.

                  incorrect

it's not where he stands it's where he strides and actually swings at the ball

"You've got to go in on him, go in on those hands because big strong guys want to get their arms away from them," says the scout, who was granted anonymity by SI.com so that he could speak freely. "That's where you have to start. He's got to prove to me he can handle that ball. He kind of leans over the plate, maybe you can straighten him up a bit."

And they cannot simply stay away from him by throwing the ball to the plate's outer third, because that is what he loves best. Of his 18 hits, 10 have gone to the opposite field (Puig bats righthanded), including two of his homers, among them the grand slam he hit off Braves reliever Cory Gearrin on June 6.

I'm just telling you what I see. I watch every game, and he cannot hit slider away. He can't. It's true, however, he like to go opposite field...but these are usually fastballs on the outer half of the plate.

The sliders he can't hit are away and not near the plate. He's a free swinger, so pitchers are throwing him shit pitches off the strike zone.

Anyways, i think PUIG will end somewhere around .310, although I wouldn't be surprised if he was under.300.

Once the pitcher make adjustments and find the holes in his swing he will go in a slump. Now how he counter adjusts will show whether he is legit or not.

I think he's already 0 for his last 10 with 5 SO. He's in a slump right now. However, I think he can go 0-36 and still be over .300(stat I saw somewhere)

Kid could also cost the dodgers games by not hitting the cutoff man and reckless base running he's a talent for sure but he runs through 3rd base coach stop signs they like to call him the wild horse that's fine when you're tearing the cover off the ball now he's cooling off let's see how long Donny baseball tolerates his wildness.... Yeah I see it to breaking stuff down and away he's ****** I say he'll hit 275 ish when it's all said and done

You missed him against strausburg and gio then

To get him out, or any good hitter for that matter, with inside pitches it needs to get there quick

I haven't seen Todd Redmond pitch but if guess he doesn't get it above 96

But yeah you're right about the sliders. He's bound to have holes in his swings after 40 games and mlb pitchers are gonna find it.
