johnson and puig are just having high variance years. they both have a babip over .400.

based on their walk and strikeout rate, they just don't put the ball in play enough to maintain that kind of average. i would expect both of them to be hitting under .280 next season unless they improve their hitting approach.


other players in their strikout/walk rate range are batting from .230 to .255. of course puig could maitain a babip higher than expected if he is able to get a fair amount of infield hits.

Wow! He finished at .319 my crystal ball is pretty accurate only 2 points off. Puig was so over hyped at the onset, not what his admirers hoped he would be. I predict Will Myers will have a better career!
