Washington v. Michigan *In Game Discussion Thread*
Personally, I think this game played on a neutral field (which it is) is a stone-cold pick 'em.
I usually will grab the points in a coin flip scenario.

I am leaning under the 56 total points as well.
Obviously Penix will not be putting up pin ball type numbers.
I do expect Michigan will run often with Corum and bleed clock with rushes.

    Washington + 4.5
    Under 56

I just hope this game lives up to the hype.

I like the uniforms on both sides. Gonna be an aesthetically pleasing game.

I have no idea why these coaches refuse to punt. 4th and 3 at the W40 and you're up 14 you can pin them deep and make them drive the whole field end of half. Nope. Let's go for it. I'm sure their "analytics" said to go for it.

Huge swing of momentum on that 1 play. They pay these coaches a lot of $$$ for decisions like that.

We got ourselves a ball game, folks... U-dub weathered the early storm. Momentum beginning to swing.

That and terrible 4th down play, down and out when McCarthy has not been sharp early in this game. Should have run him or hit the huge tight end over the middle.

Honestly if Penix doesn't miss a wide open Odunze, it'd be even closer... I think those big Michigan runs were mostly missed assignments on defense, stuff that can be corrected. If UW forces this game into McCarthy's hands, I'd rather have my chips on Penix.

Mich gave up their momentum on that retarded 4th and 3 call. You punt you keep your momentum.

I thought exact same thing. I was having McCarthy run that. He's a good runner too and haven't seen much of that so far.

Yeah but Washington kinda did the same thing in plus territory when they faced a 4th and 7.

I think Harbaugh was thinking keep Penix on the sideline and enforce your will. Netting 30 yards or whatever in punting doesn't mean as much when you're giving the ball back to that offense.

I don't mind the decision, play call could've been better though.

Wanted the TD there, but field goal is big to halt Washington's momentum.

Too many missed opportunities for the Husky offense...

You can't keep putting your defense out there and expecting them to pitch a scoreless inning.

Harbaugh puts new meaning to the words "if you aren't cheating, you aren't trying". Only in a Biden America could a coach be investigated on so many things, have to sit out half the season, then be allowed to represent a University on the biggest stage. I mean was there anything this guy wasn't investigated for?

Yeah, they play Oklahoma the next year. Funny, now that they have tougher league schedules, they are scheduling SEC teams.

8-team playoff will be nuts next year, two losses for several teams probably.

Yeah with the super conferences 2 loss teams are inevitable, probably see some 3 loss teams on the bubble.
