The very best college teams that seldom lost on the road this season?
I think this is a major example of elite teams when your college basketball team avoids the least amount of road losses.
We have a few and only a few that made this extremely tough roll call:
    2 Road Losses or less:

    1. Gonzaga only lost 1 game away, but there's a catch* They have 3 or 4 fewer games played than the other teams with few road losses. They only played 27 total games. [ 24/3 ]

    2. Duke will finish with only 2 road losses. ** Today [ 26/4 ]

    3. Wisconsin will finish with only 2 road losses. ** Today [ 24/5 ]

    4. Providence has lost only 2 road games but only played 28 total games.++ [ 24/4 ]

    5. Houston has only 2 road losses but must play 1 more road game. ** Today [ 25/4 ]
Houston is rated #14 in both polls.

    6. Murray State only lost ONE game on the road and it was to highly-rated Auburn by 13 points.
    ** [ 28/2 ]
A very dangerous team for some rated team in the future.

***My Opinion: Wisconsin and Duke should be 2 of the 4 #1 seeds.
    The other 2: Gonzaga/Arizona?

Gonzaga doesn't play anybody; if they were in the ACC or Big 10, they would most surely have way more defeats. Same thing with Houston and Murray State.

Regular season Road wins are normally a good sign of a good tournament team. But a bad matchup can easily undo all of that.

If this isn't a worthy longshot to win it all, I know nothing about college basketball?
          WISCONSIN. 50/1
Heck, 10 bucks would get you 500.

Didn’t Gonzaga have a worse record at neutral sites, which is more relevant here?

What??? For the last 6-10 years Gonzaga has one of the best non-conference schedule in terms of SOS. Last year, they were scheduled to play Baylor but that was cancelled and didn't have enough time to do a make up game. This year alone they played Top 25 teams of UCLA, Texas, and Texas Tech for wins; and lost to Duke and Alabama. Gonzaga would be one of the top 3 teams in either of those leagues.

Gonzaga has virtually no competition in conference play. Against the crucible of the ACC, Big 10 or SEC they would most surely have a bunch of losses and wouldn't be ranked No. 1.

I've had many doubts about Gonzaga from the very first or second game. But they are jelling now and look at their record, one road loss for the entire season.
So, it's likely they are top 3 ranked for solid reasons and will be a #1 seed, but they are sure going to miss their home floor.
Timme, also, scares me to death.

And get this, one major Book doesn't ONE Zag player up for POY.

                        Zag done.

Gonzaga, I see, is definitely going down.
A #1 seed with players that seem to lack great athleticism? Look what Baylor did to them last year.
And they have no momentum going into this "wild & crazy tournament" coming just over the hill.
How did "The White Tarantula" get shut down? All future Zag opponents are studying that concept right now.
Timme? He may score 30 against a low seed but slitch against the truly athletic teams such as Baylor and Auburn?
This team also seems to lack "pizazz?"
Meaning, great confidence and the ability to regroup when they had that very chance again St. Marys.

Michigan is another team lacking that "pizazz?" Look how they've played the last two weeks.
                        Ugly and erratic as hell.

                        * Add: This has been a brutal year for college basketball bettors.
                        Believe me, I know.

** Look to the hot teams that gain momentum after 2 or 3 tourney wins. Duke-Baylor-Az.-Auburn-Wisc-Ky.? Or the University Of You Tell Me?
