Actually global warming has nothing to do with air temperature. The reason you are getting 3 feet of snow with this storm is the ocean temperature is warmer due to global warming so the arctic air is clashing with increased moisture from ocean evaporation producing more snow.

Global cooling was spoon fed to the public in the 1970's as one of the ways the world would come to an end. Another Ice Age was just around the corner.

Not the case this time.
There were six narrow bands of snow.
One band had 6 inches, but 20 miles or so east you saw 14 inches, and so forth.
