They tanked the entire season and Watson STILL hasn't been charged with a crime.
Negligence everywhere with that organization

Houston has been looking for a Patriots connection. Brian Flores, maybe?

He was only a temporary placeholder. I liked him and what he was doing. I think he'll be a great coach. The Texans played hard all season with a bad roster. David Mills looks like he could be special. The Texans have fukked up hiring head coaches for years. This is not a surprise. The McNairs are dopes.

Flores would be a good choice but until the dysfunctional front office gets their heads out of their asses, that franchise is going nowhere.
The NFL now has exactly 1 black HC. Nice job Rooney Rule.

Didn't realize this guy was a brother.
All things considered, he did a good job. Team fought for him, when there wasn't much talent on the roster.
Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?

The Texans punted on this season. Bill O’BRIEN, Culley, and whoever is next will be a three year window of darkness for Houston. They should vacate these 3 seasons and take away the wins from the teams that beat them. They have cheated the NFL too.

The placeholder argument was dumb. I guess he is old for a coach so why even hire him? He did a decent job

He won too many games. They wanted him to tank so they can take #1 pick in draft.

Culley got a raw deal. Listen to the GM interview. Basically, a circle-jerk.
Culley did as good as any other guy could have done. Should have played Watson and let the legal process play itself out. Then, Texans would have won more games and Culley would be viewed as a better coach.

Agreed, now people reporting Jarod Mayo is their leading candidate? Are they serious? Another NE stooge with no chance to succeed.
Culley did an OK job. Team played hard every week. They were dead even with SF the week before, and if their FG kicker could make a 40-yarder, that would have been 10-10 with 6 minutes left.
He beat Tenn., should have beat New England, and played several other close games. Of course they had some blowout losses. Team is bad. The GM supposedly was wired in to Culley's headset during the games. What coach will work for that A-hole.

This was completely unfair, the team was set up to fail. Reminds me when the Niners fired that coach who took over after Harbough. Team was a mess, what did they expect? Texans coach probably wasn't the answer, but you don't fire a guy after one season when he was given trash to work with.
