We are not back to square one. Here's my response in another thread.


The vaccines do work. It's not even up for debate. The vaccines keep you from getting very sick, going to the hospital and dying. You don't get it yet? The vaccines have reduced complications from this HIGHLY CONTAGIOUS virus. That is all we wanted/needed. Variants like Omicron seem to be much milder than Delta. That's a great thing. Hopefully more variants are less severe as well. If that's the case than Covid just becomes like the flu. Most people get it and most people recover. We're almost to that point. As long as vaccinated people are not dying or ending up in the hospital, we are golden.

Antivax, negative Nancies are ZERO help in ending this thing. Antivax guys are like terrorists, hell bent on destroying this country. WTF is wrong with the antivax people?

We have several top HS basketball games here in Houston that are cancelled as well. I was really looking forward to seeing a great matchup tonight that got cancelled. Sucks.
