What is really weird is that Washington +4.5 was the biggest pick of the weekend in the Circa Millions contest.

Now I actually took Dallas -4.5 even though the line was a little off against me.

But how do these leaders who are 46-19 know to take Dallas too?

Of the top 6 people, 5 of them took Dallas and the other one DID NOT take Washington! And yet Washington was the chosen by more people than any other pick for the whole week. But these guys near the top can see the future!

Hell the main leader might go 4-0 in the early game and needs Denver for another 5-0 for him. 4 of the top 6 also took Denver -10 in the contest while no one took Detroit.

So you might want to bet on Denver this afternoon

is it certain that these top 6 players are in fact real humans or potentially just algorithm bots?

Oh they are definitely real people/groups. You will know for sure when most of them try to exploit their success by turning tout next season.

Well the Monkeys went 5-0 today.

The leader has the winning entry right now and he is also tied for 2nd place with another entry.

CRAZY!!! The leader goes 5-0 today. There is a 4 way tie for second before today at 1 win behind. If the Beats cover tonight, then 3 of those 4 go 4-1 today and another guy is 3-1 with Arizona left.

As for me, I went 3-2 today and that sucks in this contest. You cant make up any ground with 3-2 weeks

Maybe the leaders are in cahoots together, might want to investigate that.

Not an easy tournament. Went 4-1 today. Buried still in the standings.

I am not buried, but my record is like 39-31 or so. That is WAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY back from actually cashing though

I’m at .500. Way back… but still can shoot my shot for the quarterly prize with a good start today. Hard to compete when guys are going 5-0 and 4-1 doesn’t close the gap.

Best guess is these top performers have access to information the rest of you don't and that would include everyone taking Wash and them knowing that before they place their picks. Those contests are extremely rigged and you're just making a donation.

They clearly underperformed early in the year and have been playing over themselves recently. They lost Chase Young, Sweat, Samuel has been a non-factor all year. Logan Thomas was a big loss for the majority of the year. Fitz-magic-tragic was done the first series of the year.

They would be better off with Allen over Heinecke. Hein makes too many mistakes period. Its bad. He tries to do too much and I don't think he senses the pressure very well at times.

The season was grim w/o Fitz anyway. I'm surprised they didn't trade for someone even like a Roethlisberger.

You have to get extremely lucky to win a big contest. It helps to be a little sharp. You've got to zig when others zag to be a good gambler.

An example of another bias, just looking at 'leaders" every year ... by definition, yes they will be good

Show me a guy who hits 65% two years in a row and I'll be impressed, that is highly unlikely, statisticallly

Unlikely but hard to dismiss. I always wondered why they don't let you choose totals in those contests.
