Stacey Abrams already said they can work around these new vote restricting laws. They will have to mobilize sooner and bring the voters to the polls sooner. They can email them food and drink vouchers that can use prior to waiting in line to vote. The buses that will be used to bring the voters to the polls will be supplied with food and water. As long as they drop off the voters 150 feet from the polls to bypass the new law destrictions.Comment -
I've been to Atlanta.
Big city, major market.
Huge black population.
These are the facts.
60 percent of the city's neighborhoods are black.
25 percent are poor.
20 percent live in poverty.

Wouldn't it be a better idea be to keep the three dey All Star event in Atlanta Georgia, rake in all that revenue from mainly out of city rich white baseball fans who'll fly in to watch it, and while the All Star festivities are taking place peacefully protest to further the message?
Giving another city this revenue doesn't make sense.
You can move it Detroit, a black baseball city that could use the money. or maybe Miami, but they are a Latin population.

Sure, Atlanta has some of the poorest neighborhoods but it also has some of the wealthiest. You may never find another concentration of rich black people. Your take on when, where and why boycott is flawed. Should MLK not boycott buses in Montgomery since poor black people rode them more than white and had to get to work? Should their have been sit ins where people ate? Should a union not strike since their members won’t get paid? Protest is never easy, nor is doing the right thing. Money coming into the city with this All Star game was not going to trickle down to those poor black people. But money lost is certainly going to hurt the rich mofos, which will ultimately pressure these fake ass Republicans to do the right thing. This is just the beginning. The people will always win. I have been voting in Georgia in every election since 2000. Not a single time I was able to vote without a driver's licence. This new law is a bunch of baloney. It is tailored to limit voting options and hours or days you can vote and also take powers from the secretary of state and give it to local officials so they can overturn results.
It has nothing to do with requiring IDs to vote as this was the previous standard.
The voting machines are not rigged in Georgia. The machines print paper ballots that are saved for recounts if needed. The only dead people who voted in Georgia where Republicans who were caught in the act.

That sounds ridiculous. I am all for shortening the waiting lines. I would march for that. I am not all for creating new problems or using veiled excuses as an opportunity to increase one's chance of stealing another election, keeping a vise grip on power.

I know several people who were mysteriously taken off the voting registry after voting in Georgia for decades. All Dems. Repubs were doing fraudulent shit and not trying to hide their treachery.
