I have read like 100 posts in this thread, and I almost can't believe what I am reading. 5dimes is refunding live futures bets which are massively up in equity, but they are not refunding losing bets? So if for all the NBA title bets people placed, they're refunding bets on the 6 teams remaining but keeping all the cash from the bets on the 24 teams that have been eliminated?

Surely they can't do this and expect to stay in business, right?

Optional, when he wrote 'losing bets', I'm pretty sure he meant bets that ALREADY LOST. I'm actually pretty positive thats what he meant because he qualified it by stating they are 'keeping the cash from the other 24 teams'. It looks like you misread that as 'obvious losers' ie bets with negative equity.

They aren't refunding bets that already lost. They ARE refunding all bets currently open. Thus stealing from players by not paying a winner but collecting on losers.

For some reason, today Betanysports cancelled my 2 NFL Futures I brought over from 5Dimes, but has left the Election future(so far). All are for extremely small amounts so it's no biggie, but weird. One of the NFL Futures has better odds at BetAnySports than 5Dimes had a month ago, one didn't. And they also cancelled an NFL Future I bet with THEM on my first day in, because they had a better number than 5Dimes(they still do). I settled it all on chat hopefully, and have rebet the better number again, there. Just something to look for, for all transferred players.

Just jumping in here, repeating that two political bets that are likely to be losers, but not 100% for sure yet, were graded as losers two days ago after I requested refunding of all bets. I am still waiting for refunds on others, many that are likely winners. So they do not seem to be "refunding all unsettled bets including obvious losers."

This sounds good in theory. But what are they supposed to do when your bet goes down in price... ask you to pay more? Let's say I bet on a future that is still unsettled and I bought it at +105 for $100 but it is currently at +4000. If this were the case i would be very lucky that I am getting refunded. I don't think it would be fair for them to ask me to now pay up on the +4000.

I agree that all this shit sucks but I don't think it's as simple as most people think. Or I am missing something here?

5Dimes told us their normal internal limits and frequency rules have been waived. This was to accommodate larger balances and also so that everyone could get paid before the deadline. It is also posted here on their FAQ. Somewhat vaguely worded but bitcoin should not have the same "payment method restriction" as checks. Request another one and let us know.

Q. Will you allow higher limits on withdrawals for customers with large account balances?
A. Payouts with higher limits and frequency are allowed, only subject to each payment method's limits and restrictions.

I will say the phone conversations with the representatives there have gone smoothly and they've been helpful in terms of answering any questions that I've had. Still very frustrated and disappointed in how futures (especially NBA futures) are being handled right now, but at this point I at least want to get my other money out of there.

if you had the milwaukee bucks to win the central division, they graded it a win
if you had any other team, (even though all of them except ind) were mathematically eliminated, they graded it as a refund
