Let me try to break this down for you in a way that you MIGHT be able to understand.
Where I live FOX News AM Radio is station 1130.
The shows/hosts include Glenn Beck, Rush Limbaugh, Sean Hannity, and Joe Pags.
Every few minutes there are commercials where they say something like
"YOU ARE LISTENING TO FOX NEWS!" (even on Limbaugh's show).

Do you think your average listener knows which hosts are working directly for FOX?
It doesn't make a fukking difference if they work directly for FOX or not...
they are still ON FOX and they are all cheerleaders for Trump. That's all they do.

When Obama was President I actually tricked myself into believing

by reffing basketball leagues (adult, high school, handful of college games)
and also umping baseball (Little League & adult Rec fastball)

way they WANT to see them.

I have NO pre-conditioned allegiances.

but I liked Reagan (R).

I liked GW Bush (R) (but only in first term prior to the damning Duelfer report)

I was willing to give Trump a fully OBJECTIVE chance at first.

So it was and still is in everyone's interest to be objective/unbiased.
But as Trump's personality & behaviour (and his admin) became more apparent,
that objective view kept seeing an increasing number of net fouls.
Likewise for the opposing parties.
I see a LOT of fouls by Team Blue and a LOT of fouls by Team Red.
But objectively, I have witnessed many more fouls by Team Red.

I just call'em the way I see'em.
Naturally the coach and players of Team Red will claim I am wrong,
blind, an idiot, and totally biased because my objective assessment
doesn't match up with the way they WANT to see things.

- taking out that Iranian terrorist general in drone strike
