    It's incredibly subjective indeed

    I guess I read it as a question of top 5 athletes over the last 50 years that made this world a better place by using their podium to influence societal change.

    I see AI as someone who maybe facilitated some change in an urban sense via apparel and some unique skills on the court- granted. But how that impacted the day to day lives of ordinary people I guess I cant link it....

          None of these athletes had any impact on my life with the exception of the overpriced Jordan Nike's I bought in high school that fell apart in a month.

            The only guy that impacted my life as a kid growing up was probably Roger Staubach of the Dallas Cowboys.. Was such a fan as a little kid of Roger and the Boys with the entire family rooting.. Good times.. I caught the tail end of his career. Roger the Dodger.

              He attended the U.S. Naval Academy where he won the 1963 Heisman Trophy,

              and after graduation he served in the U.S. Navy, including a tour of duty in Vietnam.

              Staubach joined the Dallas Cowboys in 1969 and played with the club during all
              11 seasons of his career......
