Where did you get this info. Never heard of this guy. Hard to believe that Miami wold skip over their #1 and #2 rated QB's in the Summer.

Seriously?
Miami announced it via twitter a few hours ago.
And Williams is no joke-- the kid was a consensus Top 10 QB coming out-- he had offers from Alabama and Ohio State.

Jarren Williams is the best passer of the bunch. May be a redshirt freshman but make no mistake - this dude is talented. He was the most consistent during the scrimmages and throws the best deep balls/intermediate routes.
Now it's not ideal for his first start to be against Florida with an inexperienced offensive line, but he gives us the best chance to win on 8/24 and beyond.

Also Tate might have some special packages at the goal line (again given our inexperienced O-line) or for short yardage situations. Also talks of converting to a slot WR lol.
Jarren, despite having an arm, is mobile as well. In fact, Miami has speed trackers on some of the jerseys and he broke 20 mph on a QB scramble. He's athletic and can throw on the run.

I hear a lot of homer hype here. This kid may be good, but the rest of the Miami offense in a word, iffy. Florida's defense is a lot weaker than expected in the secondary with all the losses due to injuries and players getting kicked out of school. Miami's defensive secondary will get a test. Miami would have had a much better chance if this were game 12 instead of game 1. I would not touch this game.

Oh I absolutely agree with this. Our Oline is going to struggle mightily against UF front. Now what gives me some hope is that our interior lineman are solid and if we can generate a push there to run the ball we'll stick around. Our 2 TE's (Brevin Jordan and Will Mallory are nasty - no homer take there y'all will see - and UF had trouble guarding TE's last season. If we can consistently hit our TE's and WR's in Jeff Thomas and KJ Osborn, this will be a battle well into the 4Q.
The key with both Manny's defense and Grantham's defense is neutralizing the blitzes. Both of them love to create havoc, and whichever offense is able to turn that aggressiveness against themselves will win this game. Obviously UF is more experienced with Franks, Perine, and very talented WR's, but people who think Miami will be smacked so bad that this will be over by the early 3Q are delusional.

"Tate Martell" sounds like he is illiterate to me anyway.
I am a buckeye fan and me personally I would rather be back up at TOSU than be a starter at the U.
think of how many women will give you a BJ just for being back up QB...
plus what happens if the starter gets hurt???? then you are in there
plus Tom Brady was a back up at Michigan and now he is a 6 time Super Bowl winner
Tate Martell made a monumental mistake it appears

There is no way this guy was going to start at QB in the league even if he turned into a decent college player. His ceiling was your Braxton Miller type..so maybe if he is willing to change positions?

Manny Diaz doing right. Showing the team its all about competition and best player plays, no matter what class, how
many stars a recruit was rated or any other BS. This is how you build a winning program.

It may make me a terrible person, but I find it hard to feel bad for Tathan. He is one of the most cocky people I have ever seen and has an extremely inflated sense of self worth. Maybe a humbling experience like this will actually be a really good thing that he can learn from to really improve in life.

wow, that GF is mind-boggle HOT... real breasts? i think so.
this reminds me of jake heaps if people remember him... #1 QB recruit in country... BYU to Kansas to Miami-Florida. and playing time went down and down.
or even tate forcier? is that his name?....... michigan to SDSU to SJSU? but never seemed to really play much after his incredible and short michigan run.

i was somewhat wrong Tate Forcier.
Michigan (amazing win over ND) to Miami-Fl (but never enrolled and/or with the team) then to SJSU (never played, not sure if he was on team or not).. then hamilton tiger cats training camp... and that's it.......... EDIT, need to fix it again. he had financial aid package (i.e. scholarship) with M-F but not much came of it. same thing with SJSU. very murky. apparently bad grades, at the very least.
