Never about himself, never showboats.
Always in condition, I don't think he's missed a start in 14 years.
11 time pro bowler, SB champion, SB MVP.
Always team first, Brees second.
My guy is Rivers, but I love everything about DB, how can you not?

Brees won't go down as the best QB ever. But he really might be the best PRO ever.

stop talking nonsense. he isn't even top 5 and borderline top 10. take payton away from him and he is an average qb. product of a great offensive scheme. when you are throwing to wide open guys against soft zones you should put up big numbers.

To a point. Brees still a level or two below Brady. Goff not even in discussion at this stage in his career. Gurley is the offense in LA. Everything based off play action.

I guess it is all subjective and you are someone who’s opinion I respect here.

Totally agree, you can't talk Goff until after year five, and he had better put up five solid seasons.
Yes, Gurley is the offense in LA, and is the best RB in the game now.
But, given the choice of Brees or Rodgers, I lean Breees, but that's just me.
(Rivers is still my guy)

It may sound cheesy but when he went up to his kids after breaking that record and told them they could do anything they applied themselves at, it further established the way I look at him. He’s doing it for the right reasons and he truly loves the game.

JJ, I don't think so. There's a difference. Some of his early year stats weren't the best.

As for aging gracefully + taking the mental game to the next level, yes. He's going down as the "best pro ever."
