Why can't we have a no gun law as well for most areas? That way when you catch the perp with a gun you can bring down the full arm of the law.

Most high profile shootings happen in gun free zones, these are zones that by law you are prohibited to carry, even legally unless you are an LEO. People dont care about a law, its text in a book somewhere, makes no difference to an evil person.

Also to add to that, DAs LOVE to drop weapons charges on criminals in order to get a guaranteed conviction, so they say "oh well take the weapon charges off cutting 5-8 years from your sentence if you plead guilty".

You seem to think laws will magically make 300 million guns disappear from US.

Did you know NY SAFE and other registration schemes had less than 10% registration? What does that mean? 90% of the remaining people are technically breaking the law - so tell me how will that stop anything? Will the guns just dissolve after X amount of years? It's too late in USA, even with a total ban it would take 150+ years for just 50% of guns to disappear. No we have to look at the real issue here, mental health which the left and right are avoiding (the left moreso). Why is it this stuff didnt happen when you could order firearms on sears catalogs and from hardware stores when there were even less restrictions?

Companies are becoming more automated today cutting out the hands on workers and laborers.. That's why we don't need millions of more illegals coming across the border and taking American jobs that call for labor and hands on work...

There is still a demand for high level college graduates though in the business world.. Trump is bringing back businesses and consumer confidence, not looking so grim anymore..

Still Mac, we need to stop sending off jobs to India and Phillipeans though.. Should be a law to stop that... You call for technical support from any large American Company today and you are usually transferred to a rep working in a different country like India...

The illegals aren't qualified for the jobs that we want. The bigger problem is that our kids are no longer qualified, nor are they interested in getting the education necessary. Our kids are entitled. They think they are owed something and they don't even know that the world is passing them by. Many other countries are graduating a much better educated class of people than Americans. It's very sad. I see it every day. American kids cannot keep up with a lot of the world. That's the truth but we don't want to hear it. Companies rather hire foreign workers because they are better workers. Pitiful.

Mexico and the Caribbean would have been a much better option, especially for American companies IMO but Asia got the jump on everywhere else. Now, they are more technically proficient and still the cheaper option. You can't stop companies from offshoring because they can easily setup shell companies in other countries that you can't govern. Our kids don't go for Master and Phd's anymore. They don't think they need it. While Asian's/Indians are kicking their behinds.

Perhaps they don't do better jobs then American citizens, depends the job.. Their English isn't going to be as good that's for sure.. However most people from India looking for work in or from the US are typically highly educated.. You'd be surprised.
