Not so sure...everything depends on stimulus...I think big cap tech will keep it afloat...but needs stimulus now that fed isn’t pumping.

IMO virtually no chance of significant stimulus pre-election. Dems are not going to let Trump sign and send checks. And then when Biden wins Trump and R's won't want to give on anything. Nothing big until Jan/Feb.

It really comes down to controlling the senate IMO, if Dems control senate and WH you will see printing like never before.

Yup. Huge stimulus next year. And increase top rates and corps.

When the market extends down on Biden win, then buy. Big. 4k is quite possible by the end of next year, but certainly not this year.

On better news my Carnival Cruise of Death play is up this morning allowing me to ratchet the break even price down a little bit. This is a bet on there being a vaccine by the election. They have earnings on Monday so it should be interesting to see how much they lost over the last quarter when they are only operating the Goth Death Cruise to the Bermuda Triangle, and 2 tug boats off the cost of Somalia.

My phone just notified me of my purchase of this stock. That is a pretty quick fall from the time you notified the world of these fish growers. Then again it looks like stocks are selling at an accelerated rate today. I'll jump in for some more shares as it goes here in the next week or so.

I hate the Dow. But that looks like it equates to a bottom of around around 3,000 on the S&P in the next 2-3 weeks.

But then it looks like a 25% jump late Oct/early Nov? Don't think so.

I've identified $170 on GLD as my target to unload the truck. The lack of stimulus from August and now the dollar strengthening at least in the short term is giving a buying opportunity. That or Gold collapses and I lose a shyt load of cash and I have to explain to the 'ole lady why we need to sell the houses and start living out of a van down by the river. Well not that bad so I'm trying not to look at it day by day so setting advanced orders to start buying some GLD (50 at $175), then (75 at$172.50), then the total money shot at ($170 for 200 more shares). If it gets there that would represent a 162.5% increase in my GLD position. Under that I just hold and prey for limited armed conflict between nations, fiat currency collapses, and huge over the top stimulus bills from the world's nations. I think I will eventually get one of these before the end of the year.

Of course I lost my first chance to buy at $175 because I didn't look at the market this morning until just a few minutes ago and it looks like the price is rebounding a little, but the price is in the area.

Todays dip took the price just below my Oct 16 put strikes in AU and RGLD, and just above my strikes in NEM and PAAS. New puts in FNV and RGLD today with a bit more breathing room. But I'm on the hook to buy them all if prices don't bump back up.

I'm emptying all piggy banks tonight to get ready in case prices do move lower. Your $170 marker on GLD looks like a reasonable downside target.

me too...I bought more today at 368....my approach has and always will be until something fundamentally changes to own as much as I can the next 3 years...once you are driving on the road in 2030 and every car around you is either a Tesla or built from Tesla patents think of me

So far this week...sold off Workhorse at nice profit, that was a hard sell for me at $15/avg but could read the tea leaves and sold off at 29. I think the chart right now is showing support at $22 and looking to get back in.


Rocket mortgage looks interesting, I just took a small position in Opendoor spac IPOB for a swing trade going into 4Q but I think Rocket mortgage in the teens is something I’d be interested in holding long term.

Tesla just opened a retail location near me. My wife drove past yesterday and reported the retail/consumer interest was insane.

They reported sales of +500 plus charging stations across the US and globally. They already had some big name customers so this isn’t a surprise. This is the one charging station stock I own. I have been looking at plug power for their hydrogen fuel stations but haven’t pulled the trigger. There are so many renewable energy plays but I’ve narrowed it down to investing in 1) Tesla 2) SunRun 3)Cleanspark 4)NextEra and 5) Blink

I think these 5 offer a nice balanced approach to renewable energy as they all operate in different markets and in many cases have partnerships.

i have swing traded WKHS, NKLA, NIO and Ballard power but not ready to go long on any of them just yet.

Your input is greatly appreciated. What are your thoughts on Lithium in general. I'm in a little more than totally comfortable but so far above water.

SEC threatening tighter regulation on SPACs. Really not sure that it has bearing on ones already filed.
As for GAN, it’s PR, they reported they didn’t have deals for the Fanduel and Barstool sportsbooks. Which was already known. So, it’s not trading on fundamentals. They will be powering the igaming for them and still have plenty of business and room for continued growth. Many, myself included, just got in a little early. No sense in worrying about it unless it gets to pennyland. Even then, one big deal and it could go ATH. <br>

I think lithium is can’t lose long-term and very safe. Personally I don’t invest, but if I did ALB and LIT seem best options, both pay dividends with room to grow both price and dividends.

Waking up to some more stab wounds in the market. Yesterday, due to my scanner rules I had to let DKS go. That was a good scanner stock. Today if NUAN can't get back above $32.78 (currently $32.20) that one will have to go as well by the close. 2 good scanner stocks that will be casualties to the down turn from the last couple of weeks.
On the brighter side, Carnival Cruise Lines (CCL) or Cadaver Cruise has been upgraded to over weight this morning. I've been accumulating, cost averaging down, and scalping this stock for the last 2 weeks as it sank like a rock to Davey Jones's locker and on a down morning, it is actually up this morning. A good thing as I have too much and I need a relief rally in this stock so that I can unload a little bit to get me back to a reasonable number of shares. This is my vaccine by the end of the year bet, and I expect the airlines to be help as well if there is one.

So many in the sector that are gimmicks.

LXRP very low market cap 25 million. Insiders own 20 million shares (only 90m outstanding). Altria has a stake in the nicotine division and they just announced research deal with British American tobacco. This isn’t just a marijuana stock. Technology works with nicotine pharma etc. they have 4 branches.

Dividends are mostly useless to me as the majority of what I own is higher priced, hence lower shares, and the DIV alpha is not worth the growth potential. Thx!
