This is an example for a horse you'd rather not mess up with:

The fact it made only 1 run so far means the oddsmakers don't know enough about this horse, and usually these "longshot" winners are ones with a slim record where the oddsmakers couldn't study that horse well enough.
Another issue with this horse - it is only 3 years old. It's a relatively young horse that could still make some surprises.
The underdogs in the next race in Plumpton seem a better choice in terms of odds, age and racing record (and they are already 1000 to 1 in the offerings, so can only take them in live).
I thought some people here pointed out that even their grandma can easily lay 100 to 1 one after another, right?Comment -
