There's a 10% chance Houston could literally be underwater by Thursday
Now it's getting real serious
The storm has stalled

Schools that were suppose to start tomorrow are shut down another week until Tuesday Sept. 5th.
The city has much better drainage than New Orleans and this is starting to turn into another Katrina. Think about that? What is more crazy is that we are getting twisters all over the damn place like scenes from movies.

If Donk drowns, who's going to pick up the slack around here and tell us their recycled sex stories from the 1970s?

Seriously, hope he and everyone in Texas is safe .
This shit ain't no joke with up to 20 more inches of rain in some places .
It'll take a long time to clean up and rebuild the size of the area underwater.

I'm watching the news now and yes Houston is getting dumped on.. People getting flooded right out of their houses, cars under water. Not cool..
Fema on the way and alot of help though.. Texas people won't be left out in the cold..I'm thinking of buying a raft and floating over there myself and claim my house is gone and I have nothing.. Get hooked up...
Well all jokes aside I feel for the people that lost everything, they say this rain is only gonna continue for a few more days.. Yipes!!! California could sure use some of that water.. Stingy skies over here...

Have you ever been to Houston? The place is a traffic nightmare day and night during regular times. Imagine if they evacuated? All cities north of Houston are white only towns. Blacks would have been left for dead and even though mayor is black they would have blamed Trump somehow.

6.5 million people trying to leave at the same time would have been a disaster. There would have been many more deaths and people stranded and where do they all go?

Everyone there should at least have had a raft, or life vest. I'd be floating down with a lazy river raft. With my cooler of vodka. Just like I don't understand why planes don't have parachutes for all. Hell, on 9/11, imagine if someone thought to buy one just in case. Peace out bitches, jumping to freedom, not death.
Just kidding. I'm not that cruel. But, people could have been saved with a little investment.

I can't even begin to describe the devastation to this city. Thankfully, we have not had a considerable loss of life like Katrina... but in terms of damage this is Katrina x10 folks. No neighborhood is being spared.

It's always the poor black ghettos and hoods that get rocked the hardest, just like with Katrina.. Those poor people are never prepared, will never leave their homes so those are mostly the people you will be saving.. Just making an observation...

Hard to be prepared from whatever side, if you don't have money. Buying gas, a generator, propane, a boat, whatever.
I wonder if anyone is fishing for food.

Jibbby - like I mentioned above. No neighborhood has been spared. The wealthiest neighborhoods in Houston have flooded. Homes most people can't even dream about affording are under water. This is not a racially divided event. All Houstonians are affected, rich and poor. It is disheartening that you would say this as if it is better that only one race of people are being affected when EVERYONE here is hurting?
Go research Katrina. The response to Katrina went along racial divides. Poor, black, Asian, Hispanic communities got no help or response from local, state and federal agencies. This lack of response and support was more hurtful to the local people than the hurricane itself. Right or wrong that hurricane helped white people much more than it helped anyone else years later.

Was just making an observation and how the wealthy are more prepared to evacuate compared to the poor.. Ghetto people ride the bus and don't have cars as well..
Don't pull the race card on me Mac.. I can speak about these things without being labelled a racist.. Come on man!!!
Katrina were mostly all poor blacks in the dome seeking shelter..
