I think Bitcoin reached it's max ceiling at 20k. It's old tech compared to hundreds of more advanced tech in altcoins is correcting the market against Bitcoin.

To go along with the above mention. Ripple goes for $2+ on ebay fwiw if anyone wants to buy at $1.50 and sell galore. People even buying up to 5k coins at a time. 500 coins for 1k goes like hotcakes.

I think many people just don’t know how to get started, don’t have any idea how to get many of the coin, and just assume everything they buy will be worth 10x one day.

Also the possibility of them trying to move coins without tax implications, so not wanting to keep them on major exchanges.

Ebay scammers who are selling crypto's are some of the lowest of the low asking insane above the market prices. No worse than info commercial television promoters promising the American Dream to the desperate. I don't care if where my money comes from as long as the playing field is even. I bet a team, I win?? Great, Awesome, I won... If I'm wrong I lost and fair enough. Selling to the ignorant, uniformed, and desperate, is way below me. Go to Ebay,... go see what people are falling for paying way above 200%+ .. brag about it all you want. Your not honestly making, your preying. There is a difference BTW, look at it anyway you want.

Yeah I think it's people that have no idea how to get started or don't want to deal with an exchange or learning the difference between a market or limit order. They at least have to get a wallet and an address from somewhere though.

I think that’s the most confusing part, they’re intelligent enough to make some of the wallets so they can store xrp etc but can’t just buy them off exchanges, that’s what makes me think it has something to do with taxes or something we’re not thinking of. I can’t imagine they’re selling very fast. You’re better off paying taxes then double market lol

It shouldn't be that big of a surprise people like to click and buy. Most people can't do that with crypto and they simply want to get in today after hearing about it from a buddy at work or the news.

I was in at 6600 and sold at 7400 satoshi, thought we'd dip a bit, and we did at 7500. I went to sleep and woke up and it was at 8500

So I debated because I HATE buying at 24hr highs/ATH, but I bit the bullet at 8600 and and ridden the wave since. I really, really thought we'd see more resistance at 10,000 but we cruised right through that. As of now it should plateau as support is = resistance, but that might change in a a few minutes.

God I love trading cryptos, and fukking hate it as well

$1.60 isn't the top for Ripple. Obviously it wont ever be a $16k coin like Bitcoin but when crypto/alt currency popularity grows it could end up being a $20 coin in 2-3 years.

disagree..if people are dumb enough to pay those ridiculous prices, that is on them.

my sister used to always show me auctions on Ebay where people would buy gift cards for more than they were worth...crazy how lazy some people are.

It's probably the leading contender to hit Coinbase next if I had to guess. This recent price increase could be speculation on exactly that.
