Bitcoin shows fractal behavior, imho. In other words, the same movement/shapes. Same relative movements, just at higher denominations.

Think about the buy/sell patterns. Someone is making the same move many times over.

I have a dumb question.....why is it when I try to buy bitcoin from coinbase...the price is like 200 bucks higher than the selling price?

Example: i try to buy it now and its 14,6xx and if I try to sell my existing btc....it registers it at 144xx?

For someone who understands this better than I, or many of us on here,

Can someone put into simple English what will happen with the segwit on the 28th? Is there anything we need to do prior.

For example I missed on the bcash because my btc was not in the correct place prior/not sure how to retrieve. Just making sure I don't miss out on anything important

Segwit2x is projected to happen on the 28th. BTC holders should move their coins to bittrex or to a wallet where they control the private keys.
This may not amount to much though. This is not the same group that was doing segwit2x originally. A lot of people saying it will be another trash btc knock off. It will run on the X-11 algorithm as opposed to Sha-256 like all other btc forks.
Either way, an air drop is an air drop. Who doesn't like free money...

Double check type of order/price set at. If all good, cancel and resubmit. Got a lower price to do it now anyways

I agree and am holding about 80% of my money in xrp right now. I see it as a futures bet that they'll get on coinbase in the near future and when they do, I expect atleast 100% gains, if not 200-300%. A lot of psychology will be involved when xrp hits coinbase and people have the option of buying a coin worth $15,000/$2900/$700/$300 and then there is xrp at $1.50

Yeah, coinbase is reporting to the irs, so not really sure of the argument of them/gdax over Gemini in that regard. But to each their own.
