The police are trying to PROTECT black people, from OTHER black people. Because almost all of their crime is confined to their own community. You are wrong. Laws do prevent crime. MADD greatly reduced the amount of drunk driving deaths. We still have too many but the numbers have been greatly reduced. Banning assault rifles will not stop all assault rifle killings BUT it can greatly reduce the numbers. Sure felons have had access to guns but you better believe there are a lot of them out there that won't be caught dead with one because they know the punishment. The big fallacy too many people have is that by having a gun as a law abiding citizen that you are some how safer. That is bullshit. You could be packing just like these officers and if a crazy wacko wants to kill, you are an innocent number. You could be a law abiding gun carrying guy here in Texas and if some idiot wants to snuff you out, you have zero chance to defend yourself in most instances.
