Vanek is definitely out. Gaustad had three points last night which is the exception to the rule, and last night was every bit about how bad Montreal played as how good Buffalo looked.

Miller has a miserable record on the 2nd game of back-to-backs. This is a tough game for Buffalo.

I took the Sabres, too, but only for the odds. The Rangers ain't the Habs, and Lundy's been a machine on goal. But if Miller has a good night....

Fair enough with feeling good on the dog line. I'd take Buffalo +1.5 in this one; Sabres/Rangers tend to play 1-goal games. No Vanek would concern me; of course, if Leino is actually showing signs of life and Ennis back, could dull the pain.

very tough loss for us Sabre backers. Buffalo outplayed the Rangers but Lindquest made the stops in clutch.
