#953I'll be back in a second to explain, but there's a prop bet I am playing.
R/H/E over 27.5 Royals/Yankees
Royals one of the best contact hitting teams alive, will spank Eovaldi.
Conversley Gurhtie will get spanked by NYY
Tons of hits in this gameComment -

#955Thanks for the thoughts on my plays Steve.
I hit the R/H/E with you as soon as you posted, so will root for Royals to win handily.
I know -1.5 on the home team is a Nash rule breaker but I don't like laying that much juice and I see them coming alive today. Mets much better at home.Comment -

#959Nasher, what's your record ytd (assuming you keep track)? I know you have a good rep for baseball, now that the big soccer leagues are winding down need something to occupy my time 'til football kicks off. Not gonna even pretend I have the patience and/or knowledge to cap baseball. Thanks and good luck this year.Last edited by swordsandtequila; 05-25-15, 12:45 PM.Comment -

#965I should've known better...KC leaves battle for Missouri series to face a struggling Yankee squad...letdown city plus the line was drifting from KC. Hard for me to not back good teams regardless of these situations. Eovaldi will probably win the cy young today.Comment -

#970Ah hindsight you know. We all are plagued by seemingly obvious angles later but if I've learned nothing else a fact is to try and win $ backing teams to awaken from slumps is a bankroll draining proposition, over time a massively -EV approach. Chalk it up, move on, s%#t happens....I saw that line move as well so you're not alone in the self-kicking in fact the bookieman should begin the day well as LT Profits was the only guy on earth on NYY here.Comment -

#973Thanks R. Just glad you grasped I wasn't knockin' ya. I hate it when we beat ourselves up about crazy unforeseeable shizzat cuz bottom line this pursuit ('capping/wagering) is way far from easy and it seems to have become more difficult over my lifetime though that could be largely me growing more feeble-minded.
We do well to minimize mental energy sapping aggravation wherever possible.
Maybe this game will set the Yanks back on Track?Comment -

Once upon a time I was a laison for an idependent bookmaker in Boston.
I learned a lot from the 'boss'.
They'll move lines just to fuk with your head sometimes.
Books profile too, we used to have a client that liked to bet Ron Darling at Shea pretty much every start.
He would juice the line 5 cents on him, hey, it's nothing personal it's business.
So the Darling bettor firghured it out, and said, "but I can get 5 cents cheaper with Joe the Book"
So the boss says "then bet it with Joe" And the client would still bet it with my bossComment -

#976I think the best 4pm play is
Over 9 Cleveland/Texas
Klein is a breathing hamburger, a human punching bag, and Cleveland has been swinging hot sticks.
You know who is swinging hotter bats? The Rangers.
Marcum has looked good in his return so far (2 starts), still I think Cleveland will outslug them.
I have a regular sized play - OVER 9 in that game.
I have an opened ended two team parlay with Marcum -134 to be filled when I feel like closing it.
Oh, if you are wondering, I think, (I said I think) I am 25-18 and 2 total pushed for the season.
I know I'm up a little more than 11*Comment -

#978I don't know exactly, sometimes I give advice which doesn't count as a play, but some do count as a play, or I'll say something is a lean.....
I don't know the exact record for sure officially, I do know one thing, the most important thing I am plus money, not life changing money, but I can prove I am showing a decent profit.Comment -
