Need a second opinion on tmrw. Am I missing something? Maryland -2.5 vs Illinois with rayvonte out. Feels too good to be true.

It's a gift. Illinois has lost to every team with good guard play (oregon, Michigan, Villanova, Miami, Ohio state). Maryland's Freshman guard Melo Trimble is getting better every game, which is scary. Meanwhile the loss of Ray Rice for the Illini is a huge blow, he's a scorer with the best 3pt shot on the team, best ability to get to the line and make FTs, and best stealer/blocker guard. Now with Nunn or Cosby guarding Trimble, that's less chance of turning Trimble over and worse job of guarding him.

Illinois has a good mismatch with Egwu who's taller and longer than Smotrycz down low, but Illini don't play ball like that, they'll continue to attempt jump shots and without rice's sweet shots or ability to drive, I don't see them staying in this for long.

One correction on my write up, Ahmad Starks will step in as PG and guard Trimble. Trimble has a 6" height advantage. Gonna be a fun game for the kid to get out of his mini slump.

i can name at least 6 other terps gms where the line was way off as well.. they cashed them all, most as pretty sizable dogs..

Still don't necessarily think Rice is a loser, but I certainly did not expect Hill to step up in such a major way. Dude was knocking down shots like it was too easy. I did say Egwu will have an advantageous mismatch, I just didn't see Hill coming like that. Guess I was wrong.

Still went 2-1 yesterday with 3pt and 10pt dogs winning outright.

I REALLY a like this west va team this year. Unfortunately I like the Cyclones too lol. But the full court pressure and swarming D will prob disrupt Iowa state's shooting on the road.

I'm gonna like dogs a lot this season in the Big 12 as I think probably 7 teams are tournament-bound. I really can't bet either side here tho.

Still think DePaul was a good bet though.

ND fell apart and fukked us. UNC couldn't cover 3 and somehow fukked me. I wanted to bet Maryland, Uconn, and Clemson, but my hungover ass decided to lay off those early winners. Idk what the hell happened with Texas and Oklahoma, I was way off with those and still can't understand them.

My brilliant Saturday quickly degenerated into a 4-5 record shitty losing Saturday. Disappointing to say the least. I may want to partially blame my drinkin for this.

I got half a dozen STRONG leans for tomorrow (Sunday). Let's get it.

That Iowa state game was one of the sloppiest games I've ever watched. 50 fouls. WV defense is wild with ball pressure and forced so many turnovers. You hafta be an extremely strong team mentally and be able to pass to go in and beat them there. Luckily Iowa state was deep enough to weather the storm.
